It was a win-or-go-home game for the Dyer County softball team as they took on the Lady Cougars at home. Few runs were scored as both pitchers anchored their defenses and forced several three-up and three-down innings. Ultimately, the Lady Choctaws came out victorious with a score of 3-1.

Dyer County softball finishes as Region 7AAA Tournament Runner-up

The Lady Choctaws remained at home for the Region 7AAA championship game against the Brighton Lady Cardinals. Dyer County led for five innings, but gave up the lead as Brighton scored three in the final two innings to win 3-1 over the home team.
