Arts Council announces ticket sale for comedy play ‘Harvey’

Tickets for the 3-act comedy play by Mary Chase, “Harvey,” are now on sale. Tickets can be purchased at Newbern City Hall, Vanedda Prince Webb’s office on 118 S. Main St., downtown Dyersburg or at the door. All tickets are $10. The play is being presented by the Dyersburg-Dyer County Arts Council and will be preformed at the Newbern Depot. The dates of the play are Friday and Saturday nights, July 22 and 23 at 7 p.m. and a Sunday matinee, July 24 at 2 p.m...

Rose sworn in as Clerk and Master

On July 1, Cindy Rose was sworn in as the new Clerk and Master for the Dyer County Chancery Court, following the retirement of Steve Walker. Rose was sworn in by Dyer County Chancellor Tony Childress at the Dyer County Courthouse.
