Dyersburg’s season ends with loss to rival Dyer County in volleyball district semifinal

It was the third meeting between the volleyball Lady Trojans and Lady Choctaws this season. While it might have been a straight set win in the district semifinals for Dyer County, who hosted the entire event, Dyersburg displayed a good fight in a 25-15, 25-20, 25-11 loss.

DHS’ Mahaffey places 29th in state golf tournament

The Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened Monday evening inside the Municipal Building Courtroom. All board members were present and reviewed several items including the August attorney invoice, resolutions, and bids. Additionally, Dyersburg Police Chief Steve Isbell presented the department’s annual report for the year 2021.
