Dyersburg catches fire against Graves County to win Lady Trojan Christmas Tournament

The Lady Trojans claimed victory in the 2022 Lady Trojan Christmas Tournament championship game on Thursday night. Dyersburg found the hot hands all night to control the game and win 70-57 over the Lady Eagles in the Terry Glover Gymnasium.

DMS girls hold off Humboldt to win Lady Trojan Christmas Tournament

The Dyersburg Middle girls’ basketball team continued their quest towards an unbeaten season on Thursday night. They moved to 19-0 with another win over Humboldt, this time in the championship round of the Lady Trojan Christmas Tournament. After falling down early to start the game, the Lady Trojans swiftly came back to win 31-27 victory the first place trophy.

Graveside services for Lucille Walker Mallory will be 1:00PM, Monday, January 2, 2023 in Bellevernon Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Norton officiating. Mrs. Lucille passed away Friday, December 30th at AHC in Dyersburg. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia daughter of the late Warren and Nannie Coleman Walker. She was a retired LPN and attended Tigrett United Methodist Church. She leaves a son, Perry McGehee and a granddaughter, Mattie Kathryn McGehee of Dyersburg. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Saturday, December 31st at Friendship Funeral Home.
