Alderpersons, mayor take oath of office during city board meeting

The Dyersburg Board of Mayor and Aldermen convened Tuesday, January 3, at 7 p.m. inside of the Dyersburg Municipal Building. Items on the agenda included the swearing-in of newly elected and reelected alderpersons, the retirement of Alderwoman Meghan Gilbert, the presentation of certificates of election, the appointment of corporate officers, the adoption of resolutions, and the tender of Municipal Trusts and Property to the newly elected board.
