The first steps towards the postseason were taken on Friday night in Dyersburg and in Troy and four teams are now 1-0 while another four are 0-1. While the first night of action gave us some answers to the questions we’ve been pondering since the season tipped off back in November, there are still five games left on the schedule before we get to the District 13AAA Tournament in Troy in mid-February...

Trojans roll past Dyer County in District 13AAA opener

A strong start by Dyersburg in both the first and third quarters proved to be too much for Dyer County to overcome as the Trojans opened District 13AAA in a big way, defeating Dyer County 78-51 on Friday night in the Terry Glover Gymnasium.

Lady Trojans knock off Dyer County in thriller

A game which local basketball fans had waited for - enough to literally sell out the Dyersburg’s Terry Glover Gymnasium - proved to be worth the wait as the Lady Trojans led for much of the first three quarters but were forced to rally late behind sophomore sensation Joya Crawford to get a 67-64 win over Dyer County.
