The Dyer County Historical Society continues to offer monthly events for the public as Dyer County celebrates its 200th anniversary. The featured event for March was an open house at the Dyer County Museum. The open house was hosted on Tuesday, March 14.

EMS cites rising costs as catalyst for contract renegotiation; county to bid out contract

In a memo dated March 1 and addressed to Dyer County Mayor David Quick from EMS Systems Vice President Tim Adam, West Tennessee Healthcare officially put Dyer County on notice with intentions to pull EMS services “given the increases in the cost to provide services with no commensurate increase in reimbursement, we are now operating at an unsustainable loss.”
