The number 13 was the lucky one for the Lady Trojans on senior night as Dyersburg's No. 13 Madyson Lanier sent the home crowd home happy after a game-winning triple with two outs in the bottom of the eighth for a 3-2 win over Obion County Central on Tuesday night at Doug French Field on Senior Night.

The Dyer / Lake County Carl Perkins Center in Newbern hosted an open house Tuesday, hoping to bring awareness to the problem of abuse and to the services the center offers. Budget Committee tentatively OKs numerous 2023-24 budgets

The Dyer County Budget Committee convened Tuesday, April 25, at 10 a.m. for a two-hour long meeting discussing the 2023-24 budget. Other key topics discussed included a proposal from Dyer County Mayor David Quick for additional personnel to be added to the Dyer County Building and Zoning Office.
