DHS to host Class of 2027 Scavenger Hunt

In anticipation of the 2023-2024 school year, Dyersburg High School is hosting a Scavenger Hunt for the DHS Class of 2027 on Thursday, July 27. All freshmen and their parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend. While the Class of 2027 participates in an engaging Scavenger Hunt that will help the students get familiar with their new campus, parents and guardians will meet with school officials to attend "DHS 101" in the school’s Little Theater. ...

Lawsuit filed against DCS following 2022 incident involving educator

A $300,000 lawsuit has been filed against Dyersburg City Schools following an incident that occurred on April 18, 2022 involving the alleged assault of a minor child by Dyersburg Middle School art teacher, Carey Sanders, who was reportedly trying to break up a physical altercation that occurred between the plaintiff and another minor child.
