Newbern man sentenced to 18 years for second-degree murder

Caleb Edwards, 21 of Newbern has been sentenced to a total of 18 years in the Tennessee Department of Corrections for the murder of Jimmy Burns of Dyersburg. Danny Goodman, Jr, District Attorney General for the 29th Judicial District announced the sentence on July 25, 2023.
