Choctaws fall to 3-4 on last-second South Gibson Hail Mary

After a game that saw the Choctaws win on a Hail Mary as time expired, the Choctaws looked to keep the ball rolling in Medina against the South Gibson County Hornets. This week, however, Dyer County was on the opposite end of a last-second Hail Mary as the Choctaws fell to the Hornets 33-31.

Trojans take over sole possession of first with win at Westview

Though the scoring didn’t come rapid or slow for the Trojans during their trip to Martin to face Westview in a battle for the Region 7-3A lead, the Dyersburg offense’s methodical march put the black and gold into the end zone plenty of times as the Trojans took a 30-0 win over the Chargers on Friday night.

FEMA and FCC Plan Nationwide Emergency Alert Tests on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023

FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) on October 4, 2023. Both tests are scheduled to begin at approximately 1:20 p.m. Central Time (CT).
