Master Gardeners celebrate Christmas, recertify members, and award members and volunteers

The Dyer County Master Gardeners Association met to celebrate Christmas with a banquet and awards to members for the growing knowledge and community gardens and projects established in the area. The first class of Dyer County Master Gardeners was held in the fall of 1999.

I started a scientific study last week to assign pet owners a rating in regard to the spoiledness of their dogs. To answer the burning question we often think about (but rarely say out loud) “Is your dog spoiled?”. (We are usually thinking the answer to this question is more like “Is the pope Catholic?”) After collecting data for a very short time I soon determined that the only unanswered question was not “IS your dog spoiled?”, but “HOW BAD is your dog spoiled?”...
