The Life Maze is coming to Dyersburg

Tuesday, October 1, 2013

The Life Maze sponsored by Life Choices Medical Clinic and Right Choices will be held in late October at the Lannom Center in order to impress upon teens the seriousness and consequences of their choices in a safe environment. Drawing upon the concepts of the board game LIFE but emphasizing that life is not a game, this community event will allow teens to see firsthand the consequences of their choices by interacting with community professionals such as probation officers, EMT's, juvenile court judges, deputies from the sheriff's department, rehabilitation clinics, banks, department of children's services and more. Individuals who have experience working with teenagers and are interested in volunteering for the event can contact Kristen Dycus at (731) 286-4673 or at kristen@lifechoicesdyersburg.com to register for an upcoming volunteer training on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at noon. Lunch is provided during the training. There is a particular need for lay professionals, youth counselors, youth pastors and anyone who has previous experience working with teenagers.
