DFD responds to Friday morning house fire

At 5:55 a.m. Friday, November 30, the Dyersburg Fire Department responded to a house fire located at 1706 Wheeler Street. Sixteen DFD personnel from all three stations responded to the scene. According to Fire Chief Brett Sipes, the home was unoccupied upon arrival, and there were no reported injuries. Fire personnel remained on the scene until shortly after 8 a.m. Sipes added the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
