Weighted Average Report for Wednesday Feb 20, 2019
Cattle Receipts: 265 Last week: 748 Last year: 1010
Compared to the same sale last week. Slaughter cows 2.00 to 3.00 higher.
Slaughter bulls and feeder steers not well established. Heifers mostly
steady. Bulls 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Quality fair to good. Demand moderate
to weak.
Feeders: 227 Slaughter: 23 Replacements: 15
Slaughter cows made up 9 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2
percent, replacement cows 8 percent, and feeders 82 percent. The feeder
supply included 39 percent steers, 44 percent heifers, and 17 percent
bulls. Near 30 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
