Weighted Average Report for Tuesday Mar 26, 2019
Cattle Receipts: 408 Last week: 378 Last year: 308
Compared to the same sale two weeks ago, Slaughter cows 5.00 to 8.00
lower. Bulls not well established. Steers and bulls mostly steady.
Heifers under 600 lbs steady to 5.00 lower, over 600 lbs steady to 2.00
lower. Quality fair to fancy. Demand moderate.
Feeders: 307 Slaughter: 67 Replacements: 34
Slaughter cows made up 14 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 12 percent, and feeders 72 percent. The feeder
supply included 32 percent steers, 41 percent heifers, and 27 percent
bulls. Near 20 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
