Cattle Receipts: 1494 Last week: 1212 Last year: 648
Compared to the same sale last week, Slaughter cows 4.00 lower. Bulls
5.00 lower. Steers under 500 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, over 500 lbs
steady. Heifers under 550 lbs steady to 3.00 higher, over 550 lbs steady.
Bulls steady to 5.00 lower.
Feeders: 1341 Slaughter: 96 Replacements: 57
Slaughter cows made up 4 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 4 percent, and feeders 91 percent. The feeder
supply included 43 percent steers, 48 percent heifers, and 9 percent
bulls. Near 46 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
