Cattle Receipts: 198 Two weeks ago: 408 Last year: 380
Compared to the same sale two weeks ago, Slaughter cows 2.00 to 3.00
higher. Bulls not well established. Steers steady to 2.00 lower. Heifers
and bulls steady to 3.00 higher. Quality fair to good. Demand good.
Feeders: 172 Slaughter: 23 Replacements: 3
Slaughter cows made up 12 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 1
percent, replacement cows 2 percent, and feeders 85 percent. The feeder
supply included 29 percent steers, 48 percent heifers, and 23 percent
bulls. Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
