COVID-19 vaccine limitations lifted for Dyer County

On Tuesday afternoon, March 23, Dyer County Mayor Chris Young announced the limitations to receive COVID-19 vaccines in Dyer County has been lifted by the governor’s office.

“Anyone 16 years-old and above is eligible to get vaccinated at this time,” said Young. “Thanks to Gov. Lee for listening and making these changes. You are still welcome to go online and make an appointment, but it’s not necessary if you just show up. I encourage our citizens to get vaccinated today.”

Mayor Young added the Dyer County Health Department will be present at the Dyer County Fairgrounds until 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday from 9 a.m. 1 p.m., Thursday from 6:30 a.m. - 1 p.m, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
