West TN offers COVID-19 vaccination for all adults, extends health dept. vaccination hours

Rural West Tennessee counties are now booking appointments for all Tennesseans ages 16 and up for COVID-19 vaccinations. Individuals 16 and older may call 1-866-442-5301 to find a site that offers the Pfizer vaccine. Individuals under the age of 18 must have parental consent. You must be 18 and older to receive the Moderna vaccine.

The Dyer County Health Department is offering extended hours to increase access to COVID-19 vaccinations in the community. The Dyer County Health Department COVID-19 vaccination site at the Dyer County Fairgrounds will be open to provide vaccinations from 4:30 – 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and 7-8 a.m. on Thursdays each week.

Appointments are highly encouraged.

Thurs. March 25 – 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Fri. March 26 – 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Mon. March 29 – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Tues. March 30 – 1 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Wed. March 31 – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Thurs. Apr. 1 – 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Fri. Apr. 2 – Closed for Good Friday
