Carters indicted on 102 federal drug counts

JACKSON -- A Dyersburg physician and his wife have been charged with 102 federal counts of illegally dispensing drugs outside the scope of his medical practice. Dr. Jerry Upshaw Carter and his wife, Janie H. Carter, were indicted by a federal grand jury Monday morning.
