Man charged with molesting boy in his care

A 40-year-old Lake County man has been charged with having sexual contact with a Dyer County boy he was supposed to be babysitting while the boy's parents were out of town. Rodney Roberson, of 119 Hardison in Ridgely, was arrested Monday morning. He is charged with sexual battery by an authority figure, a Class C felony, in an indictment issued Feb. 11 by the Dyer County Grand Jury. Roberson posted $10,000 bond and was released from custody.
