Police make two drug bust within hours

Dyersburg Police confiscated a large amount of marijuana and 10 rocks of crack cocaine in to two separate incidents within a period spanning six hours of Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Scobey competed in the Westfield PGA Junior State Championship Lakewood Country Club in Tullahoma to on June 27-28. Fireworks site changed to DHS

Due to the state fiscal crisis, the annual Dyersburg fireworks display at Dyersburg State Community College has been moved to Dyersburg High School. The event is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Thursday.
