Northwest utility district raises rates

As part of its non-exclusive contract to collect residential garbage in Dyer County, Barker Brothers Waste of Troy is proposing a 3-percent rate increase. Separated county recyclables finally being recycled and at lower cost

Separated recyclable waste deposited in the three convenience centers operated by Dyer County is about to be recycled, and the county is saving money on dumping the waste.
