Man accused of wife's murder at motel sentenced to 20 years in prison without parole

A Madison, Tenn., man accused of murdering his wife nearly a year ago pleaded guilty Tuesday in Dyer County Circuit Court and was sentenced to serve 20 years in prison. Shon Maurice Pierce, 33, pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree murder and was sentenced by Judge Lee Moore to serve the midpoint of the 15-25-year range for the crime. ...
