Missouri mayor arrested on drug charges

The mayor of Steele, Mo., Keith Samford, 50, was arrested Tuesday night on drug charges. He had apparently been under investigation for several months by law enforcement agencies. The arrest was made at 8 p.m. at a motel in Blytheville, Ark. At the time of the arrest, approximately 2-3 grams of methamphetamine were recovered as well as a firearm from Samford's car. ...
