County files for court affirmation of adult business license denial

Dyer County Attorney J. Michael Gauldin has filed a request for a declaratory judgment affirming the denial of an adult business license to the county's first adult bookstore. Gauldin filed the request Thursday afternoon in Dyer County Chancery Court on behalf of the county's Adult-Oriented Establishment Board. This past week Three Oaks Middle School had two football games and they were successful in both games. On Tuesday night Three Oaks took on the Lake County Falcons and were victorious 22-0. Carey Barbee gained 80 yards on nine carries for two touchdowns to electrify the Eagle crowd. Playing linebacker on defense Barbee also had six tackles.
