Shared script leads to arrest at high school

A 17-year-old Dyersburg High School student passed out in class after taking a prescription drug given to her by a classmate on Friday. The other student, also 17 years old, who provided her with the pill, was charged with selling, bartering, giving away or obtaining a legend drug. Tornado victim reports looting

A woman whose house was destroyed by the April 2 tornado reported to Dyer County Sheriff's deputies that looters had stolen property from the remains of her home. Betty Willis told deputies that she believes the thieves are parking on the interstate and walking to her house on Sharps Ferry Road...

County commission votes to release $50,000 for erroneous property taxes

Dyer County commissioners approved Monday night the release of $49,883 in 2004 property tax responsibility from the county trustee's office. USA Fleece to close after attempt to revitalize textiles
