DSCC budget reverses downward trend

Dyersburg State Community College will get a 6.3 percent increase in state appropriations for the 2006-07 budget year, second only to Northeast Community College in funding increases for Tennessee colleges and universities. This reverses a significant downward trend in funding over the last five years and will allow the school administration to staff the Jimmy Naifeh Center in Lauderdale County, which opens for classes in January of 2007...

Husband drowns to save pregnant wife
