Suspects in Bean Mill drug bust get bond figures

Bond issues were resolved Monday morning for eight suspects arrested on drug charges over the weekend after Sunday's raid of a trailer on Bean Mill Road by Dyer County Sheriff's deputies. Charges of possession of Schedule 2 with intent, a Class B felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, were issued to each of the suspects. The felony charge carries a possible sentence of eight to 30 years, with the Class A misdemeanor charge punishable up to 11 months and 29 days...

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is taking another look at all the potential alternatives for a new Reelfoot Lake spillway and bridge. TDOT applied last year for state and federal water quality permits that would allow the department to build separate bridge and spillway structures about 1,000 feet west of the current spillway bridge. Car dealers arrested for theft from customer

Two Dyersburg men were released on $500 bond each after being charged Monday with theft of property worth more than $1,000 in an apparent theft from a car buyer. Kenneth Agee, 60, of Poplar Circle, and Burlon Crocker, 45, of the 500 block of Starlight Drive, were arrested after a woman they sold a car to complained to the auto dealer where they had worked that only half of her down payment on a car had been credited...
