One dead, two hurt in separate motorcycle accidents

A Fowlkes man was killed on Wednesday when he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash on the U.S. Highway 51 Bypass. Willie Max Thompson, 49, 229 Plum St., was pronounced dead at about 8 p.m. at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center. The accident had occurred at about 5:17 p.m., when driver Gary Evans, 45, Lyte Circle, pulled his 2005 Chevrolet Impala from the Tim Castellaw Ford driveway and crossed the bypass into the path of Thompson, who was on a 2006 Honda Valkyrie motorcycle...
