Records show that from Jan. 1 until Feb. 4, 17 residential fires have taken place countywide -- that's 12 in the county and five in Dyersburg. Zayne Kimbrell, a student in Ashley Baker's kindergarten class at Dyersburg Primary School received a surprise on Wednesday morning, when principal Linda DeBerry interrupted circle time. Badge, uniforms taken in burglary

A Tennessee Department of Correction official said the agency is concerned about the burglary of a rural Dyersburg home on Wednesday. Corrections officer uniforms, including shirts, pants and a jacket with the TDOC patch was reported stolen from the residence at 3735 U.S. Highway 51 South while the homeowner was in the hospital...
