Deputy, driver injured when car runs through funeral procession

A Dyer County Sheriff's deputy was injured Tuesday when a car ran through a blocked intersection as a funeral procession passed through. Deputy Kenneth Goff was driving his patrol vehicle, a 2007 Dodge Charger, as the lead car in a funeral procession from Dyersburg Funeral Home to Rehoboth Cemetery near RoEllen when the accident occurred, at about 11:45 a.m.
