Teen to be tried as an adult for fatal hotel shooting

A Dyersburg teen-ager accused of participating in a fatal shooting last month will be tried as an adult. Keaston Danterrian Tipton, whose 18th birthday will occur Monday, June 23, is charged with first-degree murder. He and 17-year-old Darius Brown allegedly entered a room at the Sunrise Inn intending to rob a drug dealer on May 4.
