Some may say it's funny, or even strange to want to return from vacation and get back to work. After a week of the beach life in Alabama, the return to the everyday duties is just what was needed. There are presumably many of us each year making the trip to a variety of different locations for a time of peace and relaxation. Myself, I would really like to know when the peace and quiet begins. TDOC: No penalty likely for demoted warden

The demotion of former Northwest Correctional Complex warden Tommy Mills in June was the result of an April incident involving corrections officers who "apparently used excessive force" to subdue an inmate who had hit a guard.
