Transitions announces 12 Days of Christmas grand-prize

Transitions of Dyersburg announced Steve Wilson of Blytheville, Ark. as the grand-prize winner of its 12 Days of Christmas Fundraiser. Wilson's name was drawn on Christmas Day to receive a grand-prize luxury package donated by Cooper Realty and Hotels in Memphis. The prize features a two-night stay at the Double Tree Hotel in Memphis the weekend of Feb. 15 and 16, dinner for two at Cal's Championship Steakhouse and two tickets to the Regions-Morgan Keegan Tennis Championship at the Racquet Club...

Baptist Collegiate Ministry students use break to provide disaster relief

A team of 31 Students from five Baptist Collegiate Ministry campuses in West Tennessee partnered to bring hope and peace at Christmas to families in the Avondale suburb of New Orleans by doing disaster-relief work. Dyersburg Intermediate School's Food Train departs the station

The halls of Dyersburg Intermediate School featured the familiar whistle of the 16th annual Food Train this holiday season as students, faculty and staff used this unique contest to donate non-perishable items to Matthew 25:40. Classrooms decorated "train car" boxes and received spirit points for filling them with cans and boxed food items to help stock the organization's food pantry. ...
