DMS students spread Christmas cheer

When students in Terry Cook and Becky Hasselle's Trojan Time clubs at Dyersburg Middle School were released from school for Christmas break at 11 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 19, they chose not to go home to play. Instead, the group took candy bags, Christmas cards, crafts and plenty of holiday spirit to the residents at Maple Ridge Assisted Living Center. Police dept. bids farewell to Miller (Pastor helped form chaplaincy program, Crisis Support Team)

The Dyersburg Police Department recently bid a fond farewell to local pastor Bob Miller. Miller, a driving force in starting both the chaplaincy program at the DPD and the Crisis Support Team, is relocating to New Hampshire. He was honored at the reception by Dyersburg Police Chief Terry Ledbetter and Dyersburg Mayor John Holden, with representatives from the DPD, chaplain service, Tucker Street Church, Crisis Support Team and local community attending the event...
