Dyer County's Chris Yeater signed a national letter of intent on Friday to further his education and soccer career at Bethel College in McKenzie. Dyersburg takes top honors at region meet

The Dyersburg Trojans and Lady Trojans both captured the 2009 region championship on Thursday in convincing fashion with the boys earning 139 points and the girls racking up 164 points. The Lady Trojans picked up their fourth consecutive championship, breaking five school records on their way to the title...

Dyersburg State ends tourney with runner-up finish

After winning its first three games of the Region VII baseball tournament being held at Columbia State Community College, Dyersburg State had the opportunity to achieve what no other team in school history had done. The Eagles advanced to the championship round with a 4-2 win over Cleveland State on Wednesday. Unfortunately for Dyersburg State, back-to-back losses to Volunteer State ended the 2009 season as the squad finished as runners-up, falling 12-5 and 10-4 in the championship game...
