Kenneth Lloyd Beal, 72, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Tiptonville, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired construction worker and a member of the Church of Christ. They're constructing a new office for LifeBeat Family Resource Center, which is currently based in Wynnburg. Zoning-appeals board OKs gun-repair business

The Dyer County Board of Zoning Appeals granted Tuesday a permit allowing Stephen Hall to establish his gun-repair business in his new home. Hall told the board he received a similar permit in 1999 for a gun-repair shop at his home on Millsfield Highway. He recently built a new home at 170 Harrison Road and plans to move his business to a shop on the 8.5-acre tract. Hall said he has fewer neighbors on Harrison Road...
