After being swept by Haywood County in district contests to wrap up the week on Friday at DHS, the respective Trojan and Lady Trojan squads will probably look back on the games and realize the opportunity for victories was well within their grasps. Trimble board gets clarification on city charter; discusses attorney billing

Goodfellows food program adds 24 families this season

Organizers and volunteers in charge of the Dyersburg Kiwanis Club's Dr. William F. Pierce Goodfellows Project will make a few changes to the program this year. Due to the harsh economic conditions affecting the community, more boxes will be offered to area residents who need a little help this Christmas.
