Beverly Joyce Clark, 66, of Dyersburg, went home to be with the Lord on June 2, 2010. She was employed as a bus driver for the Dyer County School System from 1977 until 1986. She was a retiree of Dyersburg Fabrics since 1995. She was a faithful member of the Northside (N. 51) Church of Jesus Christ since June 20, 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church family, neighbors and friends. She also enjoyed watching horseback riding and was an avid reader...

County school system honors Teachers of the Year, retiring staff

The Dyer County School Board recently held a dinner to celebrate the careers of retiring staff and recognize the new Teachers of the Year. There were eight staff and teachers retiring this year. Some of them had 30 years or more with the system. There were 10 Teachers of the Year, with educators ranging from pre-K all the way to the high school level...

Disaster Relief Gospel Concert this Saturday

Farmers market opens June 12 with YMCA race, other events

Felon receives federal prison sentence for firearms, ID theft

A Trimble man who pleaded guilty to three charges was sentenced to 82 months in a federal prison during U.S. District Court in Jackson.
