A Newbern resident was arrested Thursday evening, July 8, after law enforcement officials discovered over 20 marijuana plants inside his residence. Dyersburg police and the Dyer County Sheriff's Department together executed a search warrant at approximately 5 p.m. at the residence of Danny Walker, 34, 15 Church Grove Road, Newbern. Dyersburg police bike officers had received information that Walker was in possession of a large quantity of marijuana and they applied for the search warrant...
