Relay for Life raises $115,000, tops last year's total

Election coordinator: Early voting turnout light

Dyer County Election Coordinator Jane Heathcott says early voter turnout has been very light with almost 10 percent of Dyer County's registered voters having voted. At around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 2,170 of the county's 22,678 registered voters had cast their ballot. This included the election commission office, Newbern Oakview Recreation Center and the mall. After the polls shut down on Wednesday, they totaled 414 voters for the day...
