Suspect arrested on felony charge of arson

The Dyer County Sheriff's Department arrested a suspect wanted on charges of arson and vandalism over $60,000 after a brief standoff with officers. Stevie Flippin, 35, 1753 Harris St., was taken into custody on Sunday after a Crime Stoppers tip came in saying he was at the residence on Harris Street. Dyersburg's Coffman selected to coach East-West game

After guiding Dyersburg to a 24-9 record during the 2010-11 basketball season, Lady Trojan head coach Randy Coffman has been selected to coach the BCAT (Basketball Coaches Association of Tennessee) East-West All-Star game. The game, featuring seniors from across the state, is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 12 at Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro beginning at 11 a.m....
