Man charged in Lake County homicides

A suspect, accused of the murders of a Lake County couple, is in custody in the Lake County Jail after being arrested in Tiptonville on Friday evening. Twenty-year-old Joshua Hunter Bargery was apprehended by a Lake County Sheriff's deputy and was charged with two counts of first-degree homicide. The murders were reported to the Lake County Sheriff's Department at approximately 9:49 a.m. on Friday. Authorities arrived to find the bodies of a male and a female inside a residence located at 3615 Owl Hoot Road, which is approximately 100 yards north of the Dyer County line in Lake County. Owl Hoot Road is just off the Great River Road.
