Speakers at I-69 meeting say money is needed to complete project

The biggest obstacle to completing the superhighway known as I-69 is money. Distribution center to close Friday

The distribution center at Cumberland Presbyterian Church (CPC) operated by Matthew 25:40, Disaster Recovery Services of Dyer County (DRS) and the United Way of West Tennessee will be closing on Friday, May 27. High winds down trees, cause power outages around county

Storms blew through Dyer County on Wednesday evening causing damage to mostly trees and power lines. A series of tornado warnings and watches were issued throughout the earlier portion of the evening, but none were reported to have touched down.
