Great Flood of 2011 brings out snakes galore!

Well, I've now had my third call this week from Dyer County residents concerned about snakes showing up around their homes or businesses. So far, all the snakes, along with other critters, have been harmless refuges from the flooded bottomlands and are looking for new temporary homes until the waters subside. When called I usually first I.D. the species, capture it, and drive it to a much safer habitat where it won't encroach on humans that are already stressed out enough by the floodwaters...

County issues continuance on current budget
