Stan Jones of Hazen, Ark., a route salesman for Reser's Fine Foods, was stocking the freezer at Country Mart in Dyersburg in mid-July when he noticed a little extra sparkle in the bottom of the case. "While stocking, he found a diamond ring at the bottom of the freezer," said Stan's wife, Sharon Jones. "Someone probably reached down and the ring pulled off (and landed in the case)."...

$2 million bond set for murder suspect

A $2 million bond was set for the man accused of murdering a teenager last weekend on Parks Thurman Circle in Dyersburg. Terrence Moses, 31, appeared before Dyersburg City Court Judge Dean Dedmon at a special bond hearing on Thursday. Dedmon set the bond at $2 million after hearing the numerous felony charges against Moses, including first-degree murder. Dedmon deemed Moses as being indigent and appointed public defender Patrick McGill to represent him...
