Cookin' for the Community Cancer Fund BBQ

Around a dozen smokers from various companies and organizations were used to collectively cook Boston butts, ribs and barbecued bologna for the Community Cancer Fund BBQ. The yearly event raises thousands of dollars to help alleviate costs for Dyer County residents who are battling cancer. To start the day off, First Citizens National Bank downtown will have a breakfast sale in its lobby beginning at 8 a.m. First South Bank will also be holding a bake sale to benefit CCF. The Community Cancer Fund food line opens at 10 a.m. around Court Square.
