Shooting range lawsuit dismissed

A judge ruled on Monday that the case against the Northwest Tennessee Shooting Sports Association does not hold merit and should be dismissed. The decision handed down by Judge W.B. Acree from Union City was a significant defeat for the residents of the Viar community who, led by Kurt and Mary Kruger and Diane Benson, filed a lawsuit against the state of Tennessee, the Dyer County Commission, the Dyer County Board of Zoning and Appeals and NWTSSA to stop the construction of a shooting range across the street from their homes.. ...
